On Thursday the 4th of March 20H and 2PM went on an excursion to the police station and the fire station. In the morning we got ready by putting our name tags on. At the police station we went for a tour around. The boss of the tour showed us the special radio. The computer screen in the office was a security camera. 20H got to try on some police uniforms. The badges have stars on them that say Victoria Police. One of the uniforms was fire proof, another has reflectors for when it is dark.
At the fire station Bruce and Mick welcomed 20H in. Bruce showed us some fire jackets and Mick showed us the fire trucks. Mick turned the sirens on. Next 20H looked at the equipment, there was a air tank, saw, axe, hose, and a hammer key. Then we got to go out the back to see the old Santa truck, it was very noisy because the other trucks sirens were on the top but the old truck had the siren at the front. We got back on the bus to go back to school for snack. It was fun!

When I grow up I would like to be a vet because I will meet lots of new people and lots of new animal friends. I would get to fix the animals and type it up on the computer. The animal might stay a night or two and then the owner will come and pick up their animal and they will go home.
